Nitron is a high analysis Iron-Nitrogen liquid blend. Nitrogen content assists the Iron by increasing the uptake in plants by acting as a carrier thereby producing a synergystic effect.
Nitrogen is the primary building block for amino acids, protein and protoplasm. It is critical for flower differention, rapid shoot growth, bud vigour and fruit set. Typical deficiency symptom is yellowish green foliage, with oldest foliage yellowing first.
Iron helps in production and maintenance of chlorophyll, it also acts as an activator of certain enzymes, electron transport system during respiration process, and nullify the effect of free oxygen radicals during oxydative stress.
Interveinel chlorosis on young leaves first and stunted growth are typical deficiency signs.
Nitron is very effective in increasing/maintaining colour in turf situations, particulary during the cooler months.
