MOLYBDENUM
Molybdenum is an essential micronutrient required for optimum nitrogen metabolism. It essentially helps in the regulation of vital enzymes such as nitrate reductase to reduce nitrate N to proteins. This is perhaps the reason that molybdenum is often called as nitrate balancer. Foliar application of molybdenum is the most suitable method of application to overcome deficiencies. Plants grown on acidic soils often show molybdenum deficiencies. Molybdenum also regulates iron and phosphorous metabolism.
BORON
Boron, a key micronutrient in all production systems, is the least available nutrient in soil due to its chemical bonding with soil organic matter. Boron restores the vital energy production processes by synthesizing new proteins and nucleic acids to increase root and shoot growth. Boron also helps calcium fixation in cell the wall to provide strength and lignification. Boron helps in pollen viability and fertilization process, hastens maturity and help in the development of fruits. Sugar translocation to fruits is carried out by sugar-boron complexes leading to better biomass accumulation in fruits and productivity.
